7:30 – 8:00 a.m. | Arrival & Greeting
Children are welcomed individually by the teacher.
They hang up their belongings and greet friends.
Light practical life activities (watering plants, setting up materials) help them settle calmly.
8:00 – 11:00 a.m. | Uninterrupted Work Cycle (Morning Work Period)
Children choose their own activities from the shelves:
- Practical Life: pouring, polishing, food preparation, sweeping.
- Sensorial: pink tower, knobbed cylinders, color tablets.
- Language: sandpaper letters, movable alphabet, phonetic reading.
- Mathematics: number rods, spindle boxes, golden beads.
- Culture: maps, nature studies, art, music, science.
Teacher observe, guide, and present new lessons individually or in small groups.
Children also have snack time when they feel hungry (self-serve style).
11:00 – 11:30 a.m. | Outdoor Play / Gross Motor Activities
Free play outdoors or structured movement: climbing, running, balancing, gardening, sand play.
Children care for outdoor environments and participate in group games.
11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Group Time / Circle
Songs, stories, grace and courtesy lessons, or discussion about daily themes (seasons, nature, cultural topics).
12:00 – 1:00 p.m. | Lunch
Children eat together, often helping to set tables and clean up afterward.
Teachers encourage independence in serving, eating, and cleaning.
1:00 – 2:30 p.m. | Rest or Quiet Time
Younger children rest or nap on mats.
Older children engage in quiet activities: reading, drawing, or advanced work.
2:30 – 3:00 p.m. | Afternoon Work / Enrichment
Continuation of Montessori work or special activities: music, art, gardening, or language enrichment.
Individual or small-group lessons.
3:00 – 3:30 p.m.
Snack Time
Snacks are provided to children in the facility.
3:30 – 5:30 p.m.
Free play time/ Stem activities/ Art class
5:30 p.m.
